Change an account's address, or delete it

Two account settings that used to need a support request are now yours to change.

Change the slug

The slug is the account's part of every app URL, such as /a/acme. Owners and admins can change it under Settings, next to the account name. Links and bookmarks to the old address stop working, but webhook URLs and API tokens don't depend on the slug, so every trigger and MCP client keeps working. Over MCP, update_account changes the name, the slug or both.

Delete an account

Owners can delete an account from the bottom of Settings by typing its slug to confirm. That permanently removes its workflows, runs, connections, AI models, artifacts, screenshots, API tokens and team, and it cannot be undone. The people in it keep their Murmurator logins and any other accounts they belong to. Unused Murmurator AI credit goes with the account and isn't refunded.

To keep anything from being charged or cut off halfway, deletion waits until nothing is running and any subscription has been cancelled under Billing. A subscription already set to end at the close of its period doesn't hold it up. Over MCP, delete_account does the same, confirmed with the account's slug, and ends the session, because the token calling it is deleted too.
